The coaches4kids Foundation was started to teach children ages 5 to 17 how to lead and make healthy choices so they can become great men and women. We want these young people to learn how to finish tasks. We want these students to brainstorm ideas that they wish to accomplish in the near future., and we want them to create a game plan for achieving these goals. We will also offer tips, exercise tips and motivational speakers. Through our coches4kids foundation our youth will also learn sports skills, game rules, and life lessons such as teamwork, character, sportsmanship, and leadership. they will learn to be the best they can be as an individual and as a team member. This will be accomplished by providing support and programs for children and their families in the development of community activity and play centers for the youth and their families. We want to provide community based services for the youth of our community. Lets get our kids off the streets and into structured programs. Click here to register now
At the Cambria County Backpack Project our mission is to work collaboratively to leverage resources in our communities to alleviate childhood hunger. Formerly the Johnstown Backpack Project, CCBC started with 120 participants in 2013 in the area and we have recently expanded to include: Blacklick Valley, Ferndale, Forest Hills, Greater Johnstown and Westmont Hilltop School Districts, Mom’s House and Morrelville Pre-K. We will utilize the money raised to purchase single serve food items from the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank at wholesale prices to distribute to an expected 400 children in the 2018/2019 school year.
